Communication with the Physically or Cognitively Challenged
Communicating with individuals who are visual or hearing impaired, or who have dementia presents many challenges. We will examine communication barriers and offer practical tips on how to improve communication.
Community Serves Caregivers is a support program that provides social and educational support for those caring for an adult family member or a child with a serious chronic condition. The Community Serves Caregivers meets the first and third Wednesday of each month from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Stephen R. Chapman Family Community Campus in St. Augustine.
