 Patient Family Volunteers Needed - Community Hospice & Palliative Care

August 2, 2023 (Jacksonville, Fla.) – Community Hospice & Palliative Care volunteers, nearly 500 strong, are vital members of the team. Whether offering companionship, being a listening ear to patients and family members, helping with administrative work, or assisting at fundraising events, there’s a volunteer opportunity for everyone.


As a volunteer, you can help improve the quality of life in your community including Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, Putnam, and St. Johns Counties. All new Community Hospice & Palliative Care volunteers receive training and will attend an orientation to help prepare them for their role. Volunteer opportunities include clerical, front desk, patient and family, pet therapy, and veterans.
