Community Hospice & Palliative Care Foundation Receives Generous Contribution

Rotary Club of Riverside Jacksonville donates 60,000 to the Community PedsCare Program

May 4, 2023 (Jacksonville, Fla.) – On April 26, 2023, the Community Hospice & Palliative Care Foundation received a generous contribution of $60,000 from the Rotary Club of Riverside Jacksonville. The check presentation was held at the Florida Yacht Club to donate funds raised at the ninth annual Riverside Craft Beer Festival.

At the festival, guests enjoyed over 100 craft beers from local, regional, and national breweries, live music, and food trucks. The event benefits Community PēdsCare®, a nationally recognized Community Hospice & Palliative Care program that provides comfort, care, and support for children with life-threatening conditions.

"This donation will make a significant impact on our organization as we continue to provide critical pediatric services and programs to our community," said Nidhi Every, Senior Development Officer, Community Hospice & Palliative Care Foundation. "We greatly appreciate the Rotary Club of Riverside Jacksonville's dedication to making a difference in the lives of children and appreciate their partnership and support."

Since 2016, the Rotary Club of Riverside Jacksonville has partnered with Community Hospice & Palliative Care. Throughout that time, the Foundation has received close to $600,000 in contributions from the Riverside Craft Beer Festival that helps fund the Community PēdsCare program.
