Jan. 13, 2026 (Jacksonville, Fla.) — The Foundation of Community Hospice & Palliative Care will host the 11th Annual Walter “Chuck” Foster Sporting Clay Shoot on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026, at Jacksonville Clay Target Sports.
Held in partnership with Jeff and Tera Lageman, the event honors the legacy of Walter “Chuck” Foster, a devoted family man, loyal friend, and passionate supporter of children in our community. Jeff Lageman, a former Jacksonville Jaguar and longtime Jaguars radio and television analyst, and his wife, Tera, have been instrumental in growing the Sporting Clay Shoot into a signature community event.
Known for his generosity, quick wit, and competitive spirit, Chuck helped shape the shoot from its inaugural year, leading the first winning team and vowing to win every year after.
The event brings together community members, businesses, and outdoor enthusiasts for a morning of friendly competition and fundraising in support of Community PēdsCare, a specialized pediatric hospice and palliative care program serving children with life-altering and medically complex illnesses.
