In service to you

As the face of Community Hospice & Palliative Care, the Community Education team meets area residents at health fairs, exhibits and other community events to present information about Community Hospice & Palliative Care programs and services.

Community Education also connects with local faith-based groups, nonprofit and for-profit health care organizations, businesses, senior communities, veterans groups and civic organizations.

Community Education serves by:

  • Increasing awareness of Community Hospice & Palliative Care and the programs and services we provide;
  • Enhancing understanding of palliative/hospice care and issues related to complex, chronic illness, caregiving and the end-of-life experience; and
  • Educating and increasing awareness of resources available to family caregivers and those they serve.
