Job Description: Under the medical supervision of the Community PedsCare medical director and program supervision of the Community PedsCare Director, the Pediatric ARNP provides hospital inpatient and community-based palliative and hospice services to children in collaboration with Community PedsCare partners Wolfson Children’s Hospital, the University of Florida-Jacksonville and Nemours Children’s Specialty Care, along with community pediatricians, other child-serving hospitals, and families. The Pediatric ARNP works primarily in the inpatient setting with the Community PedsCare Medical Director to provide leadership in the development and management of the inpatient pain and palliative care services.
Job Requirements: Qualified candidates must possess a master's degree with an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant currently licensed with the state of Florida with a minimum of two years of pediatric nursing experience, Preferred qualifications include experience in pediatric palliative or hospice care and public relations or public speaking. Qualified candidates must possess a current state of Florida driver’s license with reliable transportation and a driving record acceptable to Community Hospice & Palliative Care insurance carrier. Level II AHCA (Agency for Health Care Administration) background screening required.
