Job Description: This position has full operating authority and is responsible for developing, managing, and expanding the PACE program in a heavily regulated capitated environment; for representing the program in the community; for overseeing the daily and long-term operations of the program; and for strategic planning and for budget responsibility and accountability in conjunction with senior management. S/he has broad operating authority over all aspects of the PACE center(s), within the confines of corporate policy and procedures. S/he assures the programs are functioning consistently within corporate standards and applicable regulations.
Job Requirements: Masters Degree in Business or Health Care Administration; substantial high level, related work experience may be substituted. Capacity for mature business decisions and judgments. Five years’ relevant experience with experience in a capitated healthcare environment preferred. Experience working with a Medicare/Medicaid waiver program or demonstration project preferred. Active memberships in professional, community and or civic organizations preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated relationship builder and trustworthy leader. Demonstrated high ethical and moral standards of behavior. Public speaking and presentation skills. Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance per policy. Must have one year working with frail elders.
