Janitorial/Maintenance Technician - #5093
Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Some Saturdays

Job Description: Under the general direction of the Director of Facilities Management, the Janitorial/Maintenance Technician will maintain the facilities and environment in a sanitary and safe condition in accordance with Community Hospice & Palliative Care procedures and state licensure requirements. The Janitorial/Maintenance Technician performs facilities maintenance duties including but not limited to trash collection, maintenance service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting or plastering and all janitorial-related tasks. The Janitorial/Maintenance Technician relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and works under immediate supervision.
Job Requirements: Qualified candidates must have any combination of experience that would provide required skills and knowledge for successful performance. This includes up to two years of maintenance experience and knowledge of most areas associated with maintenance of facilities and safety regulations associated with general maintenance and janitorial duties. The candidate must successfully complete a defensive driving class within the first 90 days of employment. Level II AHCA (Agency for Health Care Administration) background screening.
