Hospice Aide (CNA) – Comfort Care

Hours:   Full-time, Days, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, 72 hours bi-weekly, every other weekend, on-call required.           

Location:  Positions are available throughout the five county areas: Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, & St. Johns.

Under the supervision of the Patient Care Administrator – Crisis Intervention Care and the direction of the Primary Nurse provides direct patient care in the home providing comfort end-of-life care/support for patients and families. All employees assigned this job title must be willing and able to flex their work location within and between the Community Hospice & Palliative Care location or team at any time if there are no Comfort Care cases on assigned days at work.




High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Current licensure as a CNA in the state of Florida. Current State of Florida driver’s license with driving record acceptable to Community Hospice & Palliative Care’s insurance carrier. Must have six (6) months experience of either homecare, hospital, and/or long term care. Experience in caring for the terminally ill preferred. Reliable transportation required. Level II AHCA (Agency for Healthcare Administration) Background Screening.
