But did you know that many of the programs and services available to our patients and families are often unfunded or underfunded by insurance? Just a few of these impactful “extras” include: \n\nHonoring Veterans: Through specialized pinning ceremonies and the display of service branch flags outside their rooms in our inpatient centers\, we pay tribute to veterans and their families.\n\n\nPet Peace of Mind Program: This program provides a structured support system that helps our patients keep their beloved pets with them as long as possible. It also assists with boarding and adoption costs when necessary\, after a patient passes.\n\n\nProfessional Music Therapy: Our two full-time music therapists offer personalized musical sessions\, bringing comfort and joy to patients and families during difficult times.\n\nThe Vets\, Pets & Music Fest will support these three very meaningful programs. \nWith your help\, Community Hospice & Palliative Care can continue to provide our patients with compassionate care (and the “extras”) that will enhance their quality of life and time with family. \nClick here to learn more
