Get Support: What grief and bereavement education programs are offered? The following ongoing educational programs are free of charge to patient family members and to the general public: Hope for the Holidays. Each fall, Community Hospice of Northeast Florida hosts "Hope for the Holidays," a grief and loss program for those who have experienced the death of a loved one, recently or in the past. These programs help people reflect, cope with grief reactions and restore a sense of hope for the holiday season. Community Hospice bereavement specialists lead the discussion and exercises that help participants cope with holiday grief, re-focus energy on activities that honor and remember what was, and find new hope for what is to come. Programs can benefit a wide range of individuals, including healthcare professionals, caregivers, families, nursing home patients and more. For information, call 904.407.4802 or e-mail us.
