Get Involved: How does Community Hospice Thrift Shop help your community? Making donations of personal belongings to Community Hospice Thrift Shop, as well as shopping there, are both meaningful ways to support the continued work of Community Hospice of Northeast Florida. Proceeds go directly to our unfunded and under-funded programs. For examples of these programs, click Why should I give to Community Hospice? What types of items are available? Our 7,500-square-foot facility is a mini-department store selling new and gently used merchandise at reasonable prices. Furniture, clothing, antiques, collectibles, jewelry and more are offered, as well as convenient parking and donation drop-off. How do you accept items for donation? You can drop off your donations of quality furniture, household items, toys and clothing at our store until 4:30 p.m. each business day.
